How often should safety switches be tested?
Press the test button every three months to check they trip. We recommend a professional test every year or two.
How long does an inspection take?
About 1 to 2 hours for a typical home. Larger or commercial properties take longer.
Is a safety check the same as test and tag?
No. A safety check covers the fixed wiring and switchboard. Test and tag covers portable appliances with plugs, mainly for workplaces.
Do I have to use you for the repairs?
No. The report is yours to keep, and you're free to use any licensed electrician.
